We have three bedrooms, all on the first floor, each of which can be made up as double or twin rooms. We have used high quality beds with lots of springs and lovely goose down duvets and pillows, giving luxurious nights sleep (we have hypo- allergenic duvets if requested). All rooms have bath robes, radios, sewing kits and toiletries.

Our guests have sole use of our beautiful sitting room. Breakfast is served at a pine table at one end of the room. There is a fridge and microwave for guests use and a music centre. At the other end there are three comfortable 3-seater settees around a huge stone fireplace housing the wood burning stove. Cosy candlelit evenings round the fire are very popular.

We have  a small drying room under the stairs for wet walking gear and an old pew in the porch for weary walkers to sit on to take their boots off!

The Stables is a three bedroomed cottage with a large kitchen/living room. All bedrooms can be either double or twin, with super, comfortable zip and link beds. The bedding is goose down duvets and pillows and luxury, cotton linen (unless hypo-allergenic is requested). One bedroom is on the ground floor and has level access throughout the downstairs of the cottage. The doorways are wide and the wetroom en-suite has a wheel in shower as well as a bath. There are two attic bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. These have double sized power showers and are bright with large rooflights. The bed rooms have good sized wardrobes and TV's. The main room has a sitting room end with a lovely wood burning stove. We burn logs off the farm which visitors may help themselves to. There is a TV with DVD player and music system. The central light fitting can use either electric lights or candles. We have a stock of books, games, jigsaws and DVD's to borrow for your stay. There is a pine table and chairs and plenty of Denby crockery and crystal glasses (plus glass tumblers). The kitchen is a pale yellow shaker style with integrated dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a free standing washing machine. The range cooker has a six burner gas hob and double electric oven.  The garden is block paved and fully accessible to wheel chair users. It is fenced and secure for children to play with a terraced lawn area and views up to Peel Hill. There are garden chairs and table and a gas barbeque in the summer.  We are currently developing a games room to be used when the barn is not in use for lambing (March and April). This will have table tennis, pool table, darts and ride on toys for small children. We hope to have this ready in the summer of 2009.
